We finished the 2006 harvest (our second commercial harvest) with less crop than anticipated (how many times have you heard that one). The quality appears high and the sugars were just where I wanted them. The crop came in at approximately 1/2 a ton per acre. This should be mighty concentrated stuff. That is the idea behind this post...time will tell.

Ethan,
As Grant and I cought up on things, I told him of my love for wines. I'm thrilled to hear about your wine making and wish you profound success. Rhone varietals and Pinot Noir are my favorites, too.

Christine & I shared a bottle of your 2004 Syrah last night. It was excellent. I'm looking forward to having some of your your current release, soon.
